Founded by Meherzad — a dedicated Zoroastrian Parsi and third-generation baker — Meher Bakery was born from a lifetime of passion, heritage, and craft. What began as one man's dream has grown into four beloved outlets, serving thousands of happy customers every day.
Meherzad was born and raised in Mumbai in an environment where baking was not just a profession — it was a way of life. From a young age, he was surrounded by the sights, sounds, and aromas of bustling bakeries, learning the importance of quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction from his family's legacy.
Determined to refine his skills, he pursued Hotel Management — gaining professional training, exposure to world-class standards, and refined baking techniques. After completing his studies, he helped manage the renowned New Persian Bakery, his family's 110+ year-old institution in Mumbai.
Despite the opportunities in a big city, Meherzad had a dream — to build something entirely his own. In 2003, he brought that vision to life in Karjat.
